A SMALL GAME. A SMALL FOOTPRINT.

Your game,
your device.

Vemo Games doesn’t require an account. We don’t add advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

What your browser saves

Your chosen name, theme, a device identity, the latest room checkpoint, and up to 30 completed game histories are stored in your browser. Your device identity lets you reconnect as the same player. Clearing site data removes it. History on one device is not automatically available on another.

What the server handles

During a game, our server temporarily holds player names, device public keys, cards, comments, votes, and scores in memory. Another worker holds an encrypted memory backup. Secret cards and votes are shared only at the right stage of the game. Nothing from a live room is written to a game database.

Rooms expire after 30 minutes without a game action, 5 minutes with everyone disconnected, 15 minutes after a match finishes, or 6 hours in total. If all worker memory is lost, the room is lost. Your completed local history stays on your device.

Links, connections, and logs

Invite links grant access to a lobby. Share them only with people you want to play with. The invite secret is in the link fragment, which browsers don’t send in ordinary page requests. The game sends it through its encrypted connection when you join. Hosting infrastructure may keep normal access and error logs, including IP addresses and requested paths; game messages are not deliberately logged.

You’re in control

You can clear your game history from My games. Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove all saved data, including your identity. A game host can close a room at any time.

Please avoid personal or confidential work information in names and comments. Every policy in the game is fictional.
